Beginning early December, the ladies at QT Hotel Sydney adopted a new addition to their uniform – their lipstick!
Australian mineral makeup brand Issada are the official providers of the new QT ‘lipstick uniform’. In line with QT’s edgy modern atmosphere, staff appearance are another extension of the hotel’s edgy vibe.
Making an impact from the moment guests walk through the doors is important. QT staff have their own in-house makeup artist to help them put their best face forward everyday.
Issada was selected by the QT team amid a sea of cosmetic brands to be the ‘lipstick uniform’ of all female staff.
“We knew our lipstick needed to be punchy, hip, supremely long-wearing, kind to the lips and most importantly – help staff exude confidence,” said Michelle Troon, manager of QT’s SpaQ.
Issada’s Mineral Lip Crayon in Pirate and Luxury Lipstick in Red Carpet were the favourites.
“Our team feel confident and look immaculate…and it’s actually healthy for your skin! We also love that Issada is also an Australian company,” Michelle said.
Issada CEO Fiona Neale said this new initiative was just another step in cementing the Issada/QT brand relationship. “QT and Issada are a perfect fit; we share a similar ethos and philosophy. Our brands both offer boutique luxury with a difference – with top priorities being attention to detail and unfailing customer service,” Fiona said.
In order to help QT staff get better acquainted with the products, Issada will be conducting educational Issada makeovers in early 2014.
