Clinic Care Introduce Dermaquest’s New Line

Clinic Care held a lunch launch last month, at The Deck restaurant, Luna Park, to introduce media to the new DermaQuest Stem Cell 3D Collection, and launch their latest in micro-needling technology: e-Dermastamp.

DermaQuest formulator, Sam Dhatt flew in from the US to educate editors on the evolution of plant stem cell technology and how the latest advances have been incorporated into the new collection.

The Stem Cell 3D Collection includes: Stem Cell 3D Complex (launched late 2011), plus the new Stem Cell 3D Daily Moisturising Lotion, SPF 15, Stem Cell 3D Lip Enhancer, Cleanser and Eye Lift.

DermaQuest, Inc. was founded in 1999 by cosmetic scientist Sam Dhatt to create and market expertly formulated skin care products that deliver results. These results are realised from the high concentrations of performance ingredients which are formulated into each DermaQuest product, with products designed for layering. All DermaQuest products are developed, packaged and distributed from their own 65,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Hayward, California, and the products are sold to physicians and clinical professionals globally. DermaQuest employs on-site chemists, which, they say, allows them to utilise the latest advances in skin care as they are introduced into the marketplace.

General manager of Clinic Care, Sean Abel, spoke of his fortuitous discovery of the DermaQuest brand four years ago and shared anecdotes of his close working relationship with Sam. Clinic Care is the Australian distributor of both DermaQuest Skin Therapy and the Dermaroller.

Media were also given an education on the new e-Dermastamp from Clinic Care’s Sarah Knox. The e-Dermastamp promotes scar reduction therapy using an automated, stamp-like motion with micro-needles. The eDermaStamp is a CE-approved medical device.

This new technology is said to aid in the treatment of wrinkles and scarring, and can treat hard-to-reach places like the nose and upper lip. Unlike the needles on the Dermaroller, the needles on the e-Dermastamp have a vertical delivery.

The e-Dermastamp can also be used to introduce skin to hyaluronic acid infusions with its patented EDS Driver Reservoir, to topically hydrate clients skin and leave it smooth and glowing.

A live e-Dermastamp procedure was demonstrated to the media by Dr Saras Sundrum of the Collagen Laser Centre in Annandale.
