From Plasma to Enzyme, Here Are 3 Skin Innovations to Add to Your Treatment Menu Now

Discover new ways to introduce oxygen facials, enzymatic peels, and plasma treatments to your clinic.

Vitamin-boosted oxygen facial

Intraceuticals expands its Oxygen Facial range with two new Boosters, designed to deliver targeted benefits as a standalone treatment or to complement other aesthetic procedures.

“Intraceuticals provides a comprehensive menu of professional Oxygen Facial treatments designed to address various skin concerns,” says Wendy Ray, Marketing Manager for Intraceuticals Australia. “Clients describe the treatment as gentle, relaxing, and soothing, making it suitable for all skin types.”

The Vitamin B+3 Booster is ideal for clients experiencing dryness, sensitivity, irritation, or uneven skin tone or wishing to support their skin’s health and resilience. It contains B vitamins and a marine-derived ingredient to help restore red, inflamed, or compromised skin barriers.

The Vitamin D3+ Booster treatment is for clients with dry, flaky, or mature skin, where a natural decline in vitamin D levels may contribute to skin concerns. It’s also recommended for those with melanin-rich skin or those who experience inflammatory skin conditions.

Herb-based enzymatic peel

With the promise of ‘New Skin in 5 Days’, the Herbs2Peel C Peel is an alternative to traditional chemical peels. A 14-herb complex triggers an enzymatic reaction, upregulating the production of new skin cells and causing epidermal layers to shed.

“The C Peel, our signature treatment, is a unique and unconventional approach to skin resurfacing,” explains Paul Fister, Managing Director of Omniderm (the Australian Herbs2Peel distributor). “A special massage technique embeds the constituents of the 14 herbs into the epidermis. When touched, these particles can be felt as tiny prickles.”

Paul explains that following the peeling process, “the newly formed skin is healthy-looking and fully intact.” He recommends this treatment for clients with skin tone and texture concerns including acne, milia, open pores, blackheads, pigmentation, signs of ageing, scarring, and skin laxity.

HIFU-enhanced plasma treatment

Combining high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) and plasma into one device, NeoGen Plasma (distributed in Australia by Costec) offers tightening, resurfacing, and regenerative effects. Nuala Briggs, Medical Aesthetician and Clinical Director at NB Skin in East Fremantle, considers it to be one of the most versatile devices in her clinic.

“I wanted something revolutionary and unique, but the biggest difference is how I can use the machine and the different types of treatments I can offer,” she explains. “It’s like using a CO2 laser but without the risk of complications; that’s what sold it to me!”

Nuala explains it’s suitable for clients searching for high-end skin treatments and those with specific concerns such as pigmentation, texture, ageing, sagging, or crepiness. Differing from plasma pens, NeoGen Plasma is non-fractionated, suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types, and downtime is minimal with little shedding or dryness.
