Ultraceuticals has begun rolling out a new ‘gold standard’ in skin consultation with the certification of Queensland’s Esha Skin & Body as its first ‘Ultra Consult’ clinic.
Announcing the certification, Ultraceuticals CEO Karen Wilkin-Donachie said the company’s new Ultra Consult enhances skin technicians’ existing consultation skills with a process that “provides a consistent professional approach using skills and tools that align more with a medical consultation method”.
The new Ultra Skin Health Check consultation features the five-step consultation process launched by Ultraceuticals founder Dr Geoffrey Heber five years ago, as well as five new visual tools (a Skin Journey booklet, Skin Solution cards, treatment cards, Product Directory and product stickers) to help skin technicians and their clients make “the correct choices to gain real visible results for their skin in 90 days”.
Esha Skin & Body manager Monika Ejmont said the clinic was “extremely proud” to be the first in Australia to be Ultra Consult certified.
“The consultation process is brilliant and has given us more confidence as skin technicians,” she said. “It has given us all the tools we need to perform thorough consultations, which in turn has increased our retail sales, rebookings and, of course, sales.”
Wilkin-Donachie said Esha Skin & Body’s experience with the Ultra Consult certification was now being replicated by other Ultra clinics in Australia and New Zealand.
“Our clinic and salon partners who have embraced the Ultra Consult method have experienced up to 26 percent improvement in their client home care sales,” she said.
“We believe our method equips the skin technician to comfortably prescribe the most effective treatment and home care regimen which empowers their clients to achieve their best possible skin”
Ultraceuticals is giving all its existing Ultra clinics the opportunity to be accredited as Ultra-Consult clinics as “this status will help consumers who are after real visible results to identify and know exactly which clinic to go to for the most thorough skin consultation and advice”.
“Ultraceuticals prides themselves on also being an innovative skincare brand offering a savvy skin consumer the most innovative skincare and now the most innovative consultation process method,” said Wilkin-Donachie.
