SunFX attended the International Beauty Show (IBS) held at Javis Convention Centre, New York City between March 9 and 11.
The SunFX stand at IBS saw crowds flock to see the latest tanning equipment and solutions. SunFX was joined this year by male model Remington McCullough who flaunted the results of SunFX natural tans. Mark Robson, CEO and director at SunFX chose to launch his latest product, a range of tanning applicators called the Platinum Series at the show.
Mark exhibited SunFX at IBS in order to expand the brand in the East Coast. “Our business is centred mostly on the West Coast so we saw this as an opportunity to expand our horizons on to the East Coast beauty scene and talk to industry professionals about further expansion,” said Mark.
As a new player in the East Coast market, SunFX’s attendance at the show achieved astounding results with countless leads and many new accounts.
“We were amazed at how many people invested in our products, not having previously seen us before. We went away with some excellent new accounts and we are currently working with some new franchise lines and beauty distributors.”
“The New York IBS is a great gateway to the East Coast beauty market as there are many who do not venture forth to other shows in the USA – we had their undivided attention for 3 days. The show is well run and has quite a mix of small and large exhibitors from all aspects of the beauty industry.”
