The Sydney EcoXpo will be held at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on the 20-22 September.
Sydney EcoXpo this year boasts of a star-studded line-up with world environmentalist Dr. David Suzuki and 8 other eco leaders. The EcoXpo will be held at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on the 20-22 September; this year there will be a series of free eco-living seminars and other paid feature workshops.
Topics that will be discussed include recycling, environmental conservation, gardening, eco baby and green living. This year’s EcoXpo will focus on nurturing a sustainable future, the global food crisis, climate change and rising sea levels.
Highlights to look forward to include Dr. Suzuki’s Friday talk on ‘Sustainability and Business: an Oxymoron?’ and ‘Rediscovering Our Place in Nature’ on Sunday.
All participating vendors at EcoXpo have been screened to ensure they align with the same values and concerns as the speakers and attendees.
A wide variety of products, ideas and technology will be on display: hybrid cars, green technology (building, travel and home), conservation, health, beauty and fashion. Fair trade and certified organic food will also be central to the celebration – famous Sydney chefs will be offering live cooking demonstrations, showing how to prepare and cook organic foods.
For the first time ever there will be a pavilion dedicated to Hemp and Fair Trade.
