More than 20 exhibitors showcased a wide range of products at the Taiwan Health & Beauty Trade Mission.
The event exhibitors included skincare, beauty diagnosis machines, makeup, devices, medical equipment, cosmetic materials and packaging and maintenance products.
The exhibitors flew from Taiwan to Australia and New Zealand to build and strengthen relationships and seek out suitable distributors.
The event was held on Thursday, November 22 at Pullman Brisbane King George Square, Monday November 26 Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park and Thursday, November 29 at Cordis Auckland.
It was organised by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), a non-prfoit trade promotion organisation jointly sponsored by the government, industry associations and several commercial organisations.
There was free admission for guests, with refreshments and lunch included.
Sydney Taiwan Trade Centre Trade Officer Janice Wu said the event was a success.
“The beauty industry has been Taiwan’s ‘invisible champion industry’ and performs well in both domestic and foreign markets,” she said.
Janice said the events were an important way for importers, wholesalers, distributors and retailers to meet with Taiwanese companies looking to expand their businesses into Australia and New Zealand.
