Rae Morris, four-time Australian makeup artist of the year, and Sarah Laidlaw, four-time Australian Session Stylist of the Year, will share their secrets of success with the beauty and hair industry next week
During the full-day event at Sydney’s Eternity Playhouse, Morris and Laidlaw will provide “a true behind-the-scenes look into the planning and execution of an editorial photoshoot” while working alongside fashion photographer Jason Ierace as he captures their hair and makeup looks live on stage.
Amy Turner, the director of event organiser Behind the Look, said the audience will be able to view Morris and Laidlaw’s work “through the photographer’s lens on the big screen in high-definition”.
“Rae, Sarah and Jason will take the audience on a creative journey as they break down a brief, define how to achieve the desired look, talk mood boards and bring the hair and makeup to life in stunning final images.”
