Sydney’s Bondi Princess Beauty Parlour has won in Waverly Council’s Bondi Junction and Charing Cross Business Awards.
The salon won in the “Brightest and Best Front and Broadest Smile” category which is ascertained through a mystery shopper process.
The annual awards acknowledge the efforts of businesses with outstanding customer service, presentation, accessibility, community involvement, environmental awareness, longevity and speciality focus.
Opening in April 2008 at Bondi Beach, Bondi Princess Beauty Parlour is a petite beauty salon inspired by the glamour and sophistication of the 1940s. The interior décor, ambient music and the beauty therapist’s uniforms all create a retro glam experience while providing modern beauty treatments.
Renee Mullineux (pictured at right with therapist Annemarie Mizen), Director Beauty Services, said of the win:
“We were ecstatic and very proud to accept the award for the Brightest and Best Business. This is no mean feat considering we are a petite salon and had been in operation under two years! We have strived to deliver excellent clinical skills as well as good old fashioned, friendly service and this is a true testament to that! It’s wonderful to know we have made such a huge impact on the Bondi community, it really is an honour and we’re thrilled!”
