According to research conducted by UK-based permanent makeup academy K.B Pro, some of the most followed beauty channels offering educational resources are those managed by consumer brands. The majority of channels, however, are those of skincare, makeup and lifestyle content creators.
The business analysed TikTok and Instagram follower data to determine the top educational beauty accounts to follow.
Here are the top 10 beauty social media accounts to follow for their educational value:

Known for: Huda Kattan’s unfiltered and unedited videos
51.3 million Instagram followers
8.3 million TikTok followers.
2. @nikkietutorial
Known for: Nikkie de Jager’s in-depth makeup tutorials and reviews
16.6 million Instagram followers
6.3 million TikTok followers.
3. @mikaylajmakeup
Known for: creating dramatic eye makeup looks
2.4 million Instagram followers
13.6 million TikTok followers.
