If so, the Advance Fashion Make-up Course is perfect for anyone serious about working in fashion, catwalk and editorial and will give you a competitive edge over other makeup artists. Make-up Mode Masterclass are pleased to announce Rachel Montgomery, 2011 and 2012 Australian Makeup Artist of the Year, will be a guest lecturer and spend two full days with students during the Advance Fashion course. Rachel loves colour and will demonstrate how to work with colour with confidence. She will also let you students in on her secrets to becoming a success in the makeup industry and also the protocol of being a good assistant.
Course content will also include:
• Advanced contouring used extensively in fashion photographic work.
• Makeup throughout the ages: 1920′s, 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s & 1980′s, which will be turned into fashion inspirations.
• Fashion inspired tribal makeup.
• Achieve the perfect ‘wet’ look makeup for a swimsuit shoot.
• This course concludes with a photographic shoot with a professional photographer in a photographic studio. The student is required to fulfil a makeup brief designing their own makeup for the shoot. You will receive professional images of your work on a disc for your portfolio.
The duration of the course is 6 consecutive days making it ideal for interstate students and accommodation is in close proximity to the school location of Earlwood. A certificate of attainment is given at the completion of the course. Intake is only 6 students per class.
