Beauty media were welcomed to Spa Universe by Mandy Gray and Mia Cassin, this month, to meet Priori international director of education, Tracy May-Harriott, visiting from the UK to train Australasian educators and introduce Priori’s latest innovation, Cellular Recovery Serum with DNA Enzyme Complex, on a one-month road show with True Solutions, which started in New Zealand and includes all Australia’s major cities.

Known as the UK's number one beauty therpist, Tracy joined Priori in 2008 after meeting founder Joe Lewis on the road training in America.
She started her presentation discussing the brand's history and founding fathers, scientists Joseph Lewis and Joseph Di Nardo who were the pioneers of AHAs in 1983. She said science has always been fundamental to the brand’s philosophy and they will only launch products they see an absolute need for. The first skincare line Joseph Lewis and Joseph Di Nardo founded was MD Formulations which introduced people to AHAs. Today, the Priori line combines AHAs – namely lactic acid, anti-oxidants for prevention and DNA repair enzymes to heal the skin, known as Priori’s complete anti-ageing skin science pyramid, which Tracy demonstrated with a slide.

Cellular Recovery Serum with DNA Enzyme Complex
Already the top selling Priori product in Australia, the Cellular Recovery Serum has been reformulated to double its DNA repair enzymes (including ultrasomes – microbe based and photosomes – plankton based).
“We are the only professional brand using DNA enzymes identical to the DNA repair enzymes we make in our skin. We have been working in DNA beauty for the last eighteen months and have now made the formula even better with this new technology. Delivered in a liposome, the serum gives skin even more of the enzymes it naturally needs and uses to repair.” Tracy summarised this product as “an insurance policy for skin” that everyone should incorporate to their skincare routine.
Next, she introduced Power Facials – AHA Power Facial, Super Power Facial and Yoga Power Facial – which combine cosmeceutical results with relaxation techniques and can be tailored to customers’ needs.
