The voices behind one of Australia’s leading beauty industry bodies are soon to join forces for a day of educational talks and inspiring networking opportunities.
The Aesthetic & Beauty Industry Council (ABIC) will host its first, face-to-face national conference in Melbourne on Sunday 12 February 2023. The full day event will operate out of The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
ABIC will welcome beauty therapists, clinicians and surgeons from around the country to hear from leaders specialising in a range of beauty and aesthetic services. Talks are designed to launch conversations around topics most impacting business owners, their staff and clients today. Some of the event’s confirmed speakers include Dermatonics’ Donna Marcal, aesthetic practitioner Sarah Hudson, expert skin therapist Robyn McAlpine, dermatologist Cara McDonald, and many more.
ABIC has outlined three key opportunities guests are expected to take from the day:
- Connect with likeminded industry professionals and leaders. Networking is an investment in your business;
- Learn from industry experts and specialists in their field. Discover the latest techniques, treatments, and processes for complications;
- Lead your clients and clinic with confidence and certainty, all whilst inspiring others and attracting new clients.
The conference will finish at 5:30pm and be followed by a drinks and canapes session designed to encourage industry professionals, both new and old, to meet and connect.
