Last week, Australian skincare brand Evidence Skincare (E.S.K) hosted a media breakfast at The Butler in Sydney’s Potts Point for the launch of their new microneedle patches – Complexion Correction.
Guests were treated to a breakfast spread overlooking Sydney Harbour. VIP guests in attendance included Melissa Doyle, Sally Bowrey and Home & Away star, Sarah Roberts.
Sunrise personality Monique Wright hosted a conversation with E.S.K’s founders Dr Ginni Mansberg and Daniel Rubinstein, discussing the brand’s latest launch. The panel detailed the product’s unique dissolving microneedle technology.
Complexion Correction patches utilise hyaluronic acid, 4-N-butylresorcinol (a powerful tyrosinase inhibitor), retinal and niacinamide to target signs of hyperpigmentation. Each patch is said to contain 2000 dissolving micro needles to ensure maximum penetration of active ingredients.
“The purpose is twofold – to actually traumatise your skin because when it starts to heal it stimulates a cascade of growth factors that stimulate production of new skin cells along with collagen and elastin to rejuvenate the skin,” Dr Mansberg explained in a press statement announcing the launch.
“The second is to allow – in this case- anti-pigmentation ingredients embedded in each needle to get past the skin barrier (or stratum corneum) delivering these critical ingredients directly into the deeper layers of the skin.”
E.S.K is currently stocked in nine salons and clinics across Australia. Complexion Correction is due to officially launch on September 24 2023.
