It was a night to remember for Aesthetic & Beauty Industry Council (ABIC) members, when reportedly 300 guests came together to kick off this year’s Beauty Expo weekend.
Held at Sydney’s Cafe Del Mar, beauty therapists, managers and suppliers came together for an evening of drinks, canapes, speeches and reconnection. The event heralded the commencement of Beauty Expo 2022, which was held that weekend at The International Convention & Exhibition Center (ICC).
The celebration was hosted by ABIC CEO and Director Stefanie Milla, and Chairperson and Director Reika Roberts. The event was sponsored by Phorest salon software.
Council Member Emma Hobson welcomed guests with a heartfelt ‘thanks’ for their resilience during the last two-and-a-half years. Fellow council members joined Emma, including Gay Wardle, Karla McDiarmid, Tamara Reid, Maria Enna-Cocciolone, Matt Williams, and more.
The event served as an opportunity for the industry to reconnect and share learnings over a glass of wine. A mix of canapes were also served throughout the evening.
