Ahead of the opening of The Parlour Room’s highly-anticipated third location, Professional Beauty caught up with founder Natalie Ferrari to learn what was to set her Redfern location apart.
Congratulations on the opening of The Parlour Room’s third Sydney location! Where is the space located? And why did you choose this location?
“Thank you so much! Expanding beyond the Eastern Suburbs has always been a dream of mine, so when the chance came up to join the new Wunderlich Precinct in Redfern, I couldn’t pass it up. I’m so excited to be part of this community and collaborate in a whole new way.”
Why open a third space?
“We felt it was the right time to grow and introduce our services to a wider clientele, making them more accessible to those who can benefit from what we offer, and reaching even more people with our bespoke beauty services.”
Talk us through the beauty services you’re set to offer at this third space.
“The Parlour Room Redfern brings together the best of beauty and skin services, all in one place. We’re so excited to offer appointments where you can enjoy a refreshing facial and a gorgeous nail service, both at once.”
Describe the look and feel of your new location. In what ways does it differ from your first two salons?
“Staying true to our European-inspired design, The Parlour Room Redfern features natural textures, materials, and warm, earthy tones. While the interiors reflect our signature look, this space has an extra-special touch.”
Any unique stylistic elements or decor pieces you’ve chosen to inject into the space?
“I’m thrilled about all the new features, but one that truly stands out is the stunning spiral staircase that greets you as soon as you enter the space. The rest you’ll have to come and see for yourself!”
What operational and financial factors did you need to consider before deciding your business was ready to further expand?
“The Parlour Room has been around for 12 years, and we believe in growing thoughtfully, never rushing the process. We take our time, building strong foundations to ensure that each step forward is secure and confident, allowing us to expand in a way that’s built to endure.”
