The newest issue of Professional Beauty – the bible of the beauty industry – is officially released today, with a heavy focus on Australian brands and businesses.
“With so many products that come across our desk, we love to see the incredible local offering that is sought after globally,” says editor Anita Quade, of the coverage of homegrown products that includes Aspect, Biologi, Pelactiv and SpaCeuticals to name a few.
Local skincare and wax-brand success story LYCON leads the way, showcasing its groundbreaking range on the cover, as well as dishing the business secrets if its founder Lydia Jordane, who says, “At LYCON, we never skimp on quality. We take pride in being the best and quite simply, we love exceeding customer satisfaction – it’s in our LYCON DNA!”
Also focusing on the next generation of beauty experts, the team has called on industry authorities, in this year’s instalment of the annual ‘Educators’ feature. With the likes of Ex-Imports’ Otto Mitter, Advanced Cosmeceuticals’ Dora Erdossy and RefectoCil Australia’s Hayley Sultana leading the pack, no stone is left unturned when it comes to the importance of educating and training the emerging talent of the beauty industry.
With a solid dose of interiors inspiration, as well as destination spas and products that turn back the years, the issue is a celebration of all that is Australian, and serves as a must-have tool as we kick off 2021.
