APAN hosted its 3rd Melbourne conference with attendees coming in from across the country to hear about the changes to the aesthetics industry.
With an opening address by industry leader and APAN CEO, Tina Viney, together with a stellar lineup of industry experts and educators, this latest 2015 APAN Melbourne conference was attended by industry professionals keen to hear about the changes afoot in the aesthetics industry.
“Merging medical, skin management and wellness is the defining bridge of an aesthetic practitioner,” says Tina Viney. With regulations within the industry in full swing, Viney says this is the beginning of a new era in aesthetics. Consumers today are well informed and expect more, says Viney.
Inspirational keynote speakers at this year’s APAN Melbourne Conference included successful entrepreneur Maureen Houssein-Mustafa, who encouraged delegates to grow and set new goals in order to reach a higher level of business success.
Also amongst the lineup of experts was well-known and leading aesthetic educator Gay Wardle and aesthetic and wellness marketing expert, Lynette Rouse, who delivered a speech on the essential elements and foundational structures supporting the professional growth of an aesthetic practitioner during this transitional time.
Professional Beauty is told that aesthetic practitioners travelled from as far as Darwin to join their colleagues, share knowledge and develop relationships.
