US natural and organic sunless tanning and spray tan solutions brand, Aviva Labs, has recently been in the industry and media spotlight.
Australian distributors of Aviva Labs, Summaglo, announced that the brand premiered its new Aviva Express rapid spray tan solution at the 2009 Academy Awards in February. Celebrity guests received Aviva Organics products in their gift bags and were treated to a complimentary service courtesy of Makeup Mandy, the West Hollywood “celebrity makeup bar”, at Melanie Segal’s “Be the Change” Oscar lounge, at the Pali House in West Hollywood.
Aviva Labs was also used in the US at Makeup Mandy for the Emmys. Products were also passed onto stars, including Monique Coleman from High School Musical, Jai Rodriguez from US Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and others.
Aviva Labs has also received beauty industry recognition, being named the winner for the second year in a row in the category of Best Body Line in the Skin Inc magazine Best of the Best Awards.
The win was announced at the 2008 Face & Body Spa & Healthy Aging Conference and Expo Networking Cocktail Reception in San Francisco, California in July 2008.
The voting system for the Skin Inc awards is reader driven, making them unbiased, and a prestigious honour in the US beauty industry.
“We are thrilled to receive this award two years in a row,” said Mitch Bloom, President of Aviva Labs. “Skin Inc. magazine is a highly regarded publication in the US, read by many of our spa customers, and it is a great honour to receive this distinguished award for our sunless tanning products again this year.”
Summaglo Owner & Director Corporate, Michael Somic, said of the award, “For such a relatively young company, it makes me proud to be associated with a brand, and in particular products that perform and do what they promise – and that also impresses all who come in contact with it – they are just exceptional products.”
