Brazilian Beauty CEO and founder, Francesca Webster, stepped out of the salon and onto the stage to raise funds for the Women’s Legal Service at the recent Dancing CEOs Glitter Ball Gala.
It’s not every day Brazilian Beauty CEO Francesca Webster steps out in front of her peers in sequins and feathers, but at last month’s Dancing CEOs Glitter Ball, a bit of bling was called for.
Dressed in an extravagant Brazilian costume, Webster heated up the dance floor with a samba, backed up by a troupe of professional dancers. And the shimmying and shaking paid off for Webster, who raised a total of $5,680 to assist women in Queensland faced with domestic violence.
“I am incredibly grateful for all of the overwhelming support I have received,” said Webster.
“It was a fantastic event to participate in and something completely exhilarating and out of my comfort zone.”
The beauty business entrepreneur says she built her waxing specialist franchise, Brazilian Beauty, around supporting and nurturing women and is
a passionate advocate for women’s issues.
“At Brazilian Beauty we believe all women should feel empowered and equal.”
No stranger to doing things outside her comfort zone to promote equality, Webster, who recently participated in the International Women’s Day fun run alongside her Brazilian Beauty team members to raise funds for Mater Chicks in Pink, thanked her fellow volunteers at the event after her show-stopping performance.
“Everyone involved in the event, including the volunteers at the Women’s Legal Service andall of the CEOs who performed did an amazing job.”
To support her fundraising efforts Ms Webster sold raffle tickets across Brazilian Beauty’s network of 20 salons throughout March.
