Salon franchise, Brazilian Beauty announced its Therapist of the Year at an awards ceremony held in Brisbane last week.
It was a nice change for beauty therapist Claire Mears when all eyes focused on her last Saturday night.
The dedicated beauty professional who typically focuses all her attention on her clients, was recognised for her outstanding achievements in her time working with the Brazilian Beauty salon franchise.
Launched in 2004, the franchise was one of Brisbane’s pioneering Brazilian waxing focused businesses, and also has a key focus on complimentary waxing services and tanning.
Initially a senior therapist at the franchise’s MacArthur salon in Brisbane’s CBD, Mears quickly progressed to salon coordinator after proving her management abilities were exemplarary.
At Brazilian Beauty’s annual awards ceremony, Mears was named Therapist Of The Year, and recognised in front of management and team members from Brazilian Beauty’s network of 20 salons.
Brazilian Beauty CEO and founder, Francesca Webster congratulated Claire on her outstanding performance on the night.
“Claire went above and beyond to provide exceptional service in 2014 and her efforts have not gone unnoticed,” said Webster.
“She’s passionate about the Brazilian Beauty brand and upholds our ‘client is king’ philosophy by providing exceptional customer service, which earned her the award. We are proud of Claire and look forward to seeing her shine through 2015.”
Held every year, Brazilian Beauty’s award ceremony was launched as a vehicle for celebrating the hard work of team members across the company.
“It is an opportunity for us to recognise the efforts of our top salons and team members who have achieved exceptional results across the year,” said Webster.
“We are like one big family at Brazilian Beauty and it is important for us to reward those who have put their best foot forward consistently as we continue to expand.”
