Cosmoprof North America launches more initiatives

With Cosmoprof North America's Discover Beauty Program and the Discover Beauty Award already proving successful for new brands, the event is launching more initiatives for all exhibitors.

This year, Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) launches another new and exciting opportunity for all show exhibitors. Beauty bloggers will be present daily at the show to view submissions from exhibitors for the CPNA Daily Best in Beauty. At the conclusion of each day, the beauty bloggers will select their ‘picks' for CPNA Daily Best in Beauty and post their selections on their respective websites and blogs. Cosmoprof North America organisers say this represents their high commitment to staying at the forefront of beauty and ensuring that all show exhibitors have a positive and successful experience.

CPNA09 marked the first year that the show organizers had a dedicated area, Beauty Blogger Central, where leaders in the beauty blogosphere were able to convene and affect the beauty landscape. Beauty Blogger Central will return to Discover Beauty 2010 where beauty bloggers such as AOL Stylelist.com, TotalBeauty.com, RomyRaves.com and many others will report on what is new and truly innovative live from the show floor.

CPNA Daily Best in Beauty, an effective and interactive program, seeks to provide benefits for both the exhibitors and beauty bloggers. Interested exhibitors will present their ‘best in beauty' to the bloggers for consideration during scheduled presentation times. The presentations will take place each day of the show – July 18 to July 20 – from 10:00am to 3:00 pm in Beauty Blogger Central (located inside the Discover Beauty area). Thus, these exhibitors will be uniquely positioned to connect with a wide range of beauty bloggers and ultimately with consumers. Beauty bloggers continue to play a role in reaching and influencing a large audience of consumers which results in a level playing field for new or relatively new beauty brands. Programs such as this demonstrate that mass media is not only relegated to a select group of publications, but rather, can be available to anyone. In addition, the results are tangible and immediate which adds additional value to the exhibitors at this year's show.

The event will also conduct a multimedia initiative with up-to-the minute coverage on what is happening during the show. This initiative will provide a huge online presence on the official Cosmoprof North America website, Facebook and Twitter, leading up to and during the show. Since attendees expect to find new trends and products at CPNA, the organisers' news team will be speaking to key players in the beauty industry, exhibitors, manufacturers, distributors and show attendees. Topics of discussion will include what these individuals are looking for at the show and more importantly, what they have found that will benefit their perspective businesses. National and international television outlets will be also be present as in the past years to cover trends and what new opportunities lie ahead in the beauty industry. This will keep all that are interested current with up-to-the-minute news coverage from the show floor.
