If you think you’ve seen all there is to see in the beauty world, think again. This year’s Cosmoprof Asia is set to unveil some of the most innovative new products and technologies the beauty world has ever seen, writes Nadia Stennett.
It’s been called a beauty expo on steroids.
Take 150 of the most innovative new brands and technologies the beauty world has ever seen, pair them with 62,000 beauty professionals and 80,500 square metres and put them in one of the world’s most fashion-forward meccas and you get one of the biggest and most extravagant beauty expos known to salon professionals; Cosmoprof Asia.
This year, from November 12-14, Cosmoprof Asia will celebrate its 19th edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
“Cosmoprof Asia’s growth over the years confirms its leading influence in the beauty sector,” said BolognaFiere Group and Cosmoprof Asia Limited president, Duccio Campagnoli.

And thanks to continued exponential growth, this year the show will launch Spot On Beauty, a new exhibition zone and dedicated platform for innovative finished products from professional beauty, spa and wellness, nails, hair, cosmetics and personal care segments.
Many of the new companies to the show from the Asia-Pacific, Europe and United States, will be exhibiting in the Spot On Beauty zone, which promises to unveil many brand new, exciting and innovative products from more than 150 brands, across 1,200 square metres of exhibition space. High quality buyers will also be specially invited to be amongst the first to view the cutting edge new products in the Spot on Beauty area.

The Spot On Beauty zone will be complemented by a conceptual project, BOUTIQUE, a specialised kind of beauty shop featuring deluxe travel-sized samples from selected exhibitors. All attendees of Cosmoprof Asia will be invited to choose from a mix of beauty samples in a personalised gift package, the proceeds of which will go to a local charity, the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.
Located at the Convention Hall at the first level of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Spot On Beauty zone will be easily accessible from the Harbour Road main entrance.
