Dermalogica is proving to be a skincare brand that doesn’t back down from a fight…
When companies announce they’re gearing up for a fight, it’s rarely a good sign.
But when salon renowned skincare giant Dermalogica did just that almost three years ago, they had only good things in mind. The brand’s worldwide FITE (Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship) campaign, aimed at helping women mobilise their productive capacity and alleviating poverty, has to date facilitated 30,000 microloans across 68 countries to bring its vision of global empowerment to fruition.
And now, Dermalogica’s latest philanthropy project, joinFITE, plans to build on that success by asking women from around the globe to share their stories about the quest for success and personal fulfilment.
Headed with the slogan ‘Tell us why you FITE’, the new campaign urges women of all ages to submit their messages, photos, videos or artworks that express how they’ve had to fight to overcome a personal challenge, or a goal they’re currently striving to achieve.
Each week, Dermalogica will highlight a story that will be featured as a part of the ‘FITE voices of change’ initiative, which plans to showcase and amplify the movement to inspire and empower others to follow their dreams and make a difference in their community.
