Earlier in June Dermalogica attended Dell’s Annual Women’s Entrepreneur Network conference held in Austin, Texas.
The Dell Women’s Entrepreneur conference is a global event that connects more than 200 of the world’s top female entrepreneurs, business leaders and media to share insights and best practices as part of an international community.
The Dermalogica brand is committed to empowering women worldwide to become financially independent. In celebration of women in business at the recent conference, Dermalogica founder Jane Wurwand represented thousands of women entrepreneurs within the skincare industry and spoke to a crowd of 200 women. The conference was themed ‘Bold Beginnings, Brave Futures’ this year and Jane spoke on how to grow and scale businesses using technology and resources to produce both immediate results and long-term sustainable social change.
“The professional skincare industry puts more women in business than any other industry in the world,” said Jane.
In 2011 Dermalogica launched FITE “Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship”, which helps women to start or grow a business across all industries. Since its launch, FITE has helped more than 40,000 women worldwide.
“Dermalogica supports more than 30,000 salon and spa owners worldwide so speaking on entrepreneurship and the importance of supporting women in business is a topic we are passionate about.”
Dermalogica also offered guests their signature skincare service – Face Mapping.
