The dermaviduals team have just returned from Germany where they joined experts from around the world to discuss innovations and new research on skincare and skin protection concepts and treatments.
The Second International Symposium on Corneotherapy took place from May 10-12, with dermaviduals Chief Scientist, Dr Hans Lautenschläger, opening the conference. Following the symposium the team also attended the Pastiche Dermocosmetology Seminar, hosted by Florence Barrett-Hill on May 14-17.
Reika Roberts, managing director of dermaviduals said, “We were thrilled to be attend both of these important events to discuss the vital role corneotherapy plays, and will continue to play, in defining the future of skin care.
“We were also fortunate enough to meet privately with dermaviduals‘ chief scientist, Dr Hans Lautenschläger to give the clients who travelled with us a deeper understanding of dermaviduals and corneotherapy in general. We’ve come back full of new information, ideas and inspiration that we can’t wait to pass onto our customers and also present at the upcoming Beauty Expo in August,” she added.
Topics covered at the symposium included: basics, skin analysis, dermatological and cosmetic treatments along with active agents and device techniques. The Dermocosmetology Seminar covered best practice protocols for the identification of skin conditions, assessment of level of damage and prospects for remediation, followed by concepts, treatments and products that demonstrate physiological and aesthetic benefits.
