Australian natural and eco-friendly home fragrance and body care product manufacturer, Ecoya, has opened its first flagship store in Shanghai, China.
Situated in the exclusive Gubei International Garden shopping centre, the store is in the financial hub of Shanghai an area reportedly rich with influential, discerning locals and expatriates.
The two-level store is themed with Ecoya’s signature branding and features an impressive functional circular staircase stocked floor-to-ceiling with Ecoya’s signature candles.
Ecoya’s Managing Director, Craig Schweighoffer, said:
“I am thrilled by the response to Ecoya locally and across the Tasman in New Zealand. Consumers are becoming more environmentally aware and are actively seeking out natural products – there has been a considerable shift in the environmental consciousness in the Asian market so we will be looking at further expansion in this region.”
With plans to enter the west coast region of the US in 2010, Ecoya is already receiving interest from the United Arab Emirates’ and European markets.
