Off the back of their latest annual conference in Canada, Director of Green Living Cosmetics, exclusive distributor of Eminence Organic Skin Care, Tamara Eacott reveals why the event continues to help the brand go from strength to strength.
Every year 300 Eminence staff from both the US and Canada, and 50 representatives from distribution businesses representing 47 countries get together to gossip over green smoothies and Thera Band exercises… And share best practices in education, customer service and account management, keeping ahead of the curve on the latest skin care industry trends.
Fresh from last month’s conference in Vancouver, Canada, Green Living Cosmetics director and exclusive distributor of Eminence Organic Skin Care, Tamara Eacott reveals how the annual event empowers staff members and helps the brand continue to grow…
Why is the annual conference necessary for Eminence?
It’s vital once a year as Eminence is now available in 47 countries and this is the only opportunity we have to come together as one team.
Why are conferences like these so important to the success of your brand?
Eminence is an evolving brand with many amazing plans for future direction. It’s important we’re all regularly informed and involved in changes and improvements and walk away after four days with renewed motivation and excitement.
Do you think all businesses need these sort of events? Why?
Brand consistency is vital for any business wanting to speak the same language, no matter where they are in the world. The company language is spoken in many forms and areas of a business and unless you get everyone together from distributors through to departments like marketing, sales and warehouse logistics, it’s a struggle to reach a unified brand language.
What is the number one thing staff take away from these conferences?
As distributors we are once again reminded of what an incredible company we get to work with on a daily basis. Face-to-face contact with the owners and the staff we normally only speak to via email or phone is invaluable team bonding, and further heightens our understanding of the company and it’s processes.
Have your say: Does your business hold regular conferences or get togethers, and do you think they’re helpful?
