Kim Kardashian could be breaking the internet again when she launches her own beauty blog this season.
With beauty bloggers and YouTube vloggers now outdoing major brands and publishers when it comes to pulling power, it’s not surprising celeb entrepreneur and camera queen, Kim Kardashian is keen to get in on the game.
The reality star and self-confessed makeup addict made the announcement she’ll be launching her own beauty blog focused on makeup how-tos on her social media accounts this week.
“I’m shooting a make up tutorial today that will post on my new website when it launches this summer [Australian Winter]! Going to have tons of tutorials!” Kardashian wrote on Twitter, going on to reveal her latest venture will be a family endeavour.
“Hair and make up tutorials! My sisters are launching their new websites too! Everyone’s will be so different & so interactive! I can’t wait!”
Kardashian will work alongside celebrity makeup artist and long-time friend Joyce Bonelli to produce much of the makeup tutorial style content for her new beauty and hair focused website, which she gave fans a behind-the-scenes preview of on Instagram this week.
Bonelli, who works with celebrity clients including fellow Kardashians Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, as well as model Gigi Hadi and pop star Demi Lovato, has her own social media following of over one million, whom she told on Instagram this Sunday, “Can’t wait for you guys to see our tutorials!!”
The hair and makeup tutorials are set to feature Kardashian’s favourite beauty products as well as acting as a platform for marketing the entrepreneur’s beauty and hair line.
Viewers will also be privy to learning many of the reality star’s most popular beauty tricks including contouring and brow grooming – techniques which have been the focus of many of YouTube’s most sought after beauty vlogs.
The timing of the announcement is no doubt a strategic move to catapult Kardashian into the lucrative beauty education sector, as the star prepares to host a live makeup class in Los Angeles next month alongside personal makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic.
And with an ever-growing empire of hair and makeup products to her name, it seems only natural for Kardashian to spread her wings into the lucrative beauty blogosphere.
As for where it will take her career, only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure, Kim’s got plenty of pearls of makeup wisdom to share on her new site.
