On January 25th, C&M camilla and marc SWIM in conjunction with Moet et Chandon celebrated Australia Day with an intimate summer drinks party.
Taking place at the newly opened, The Village, in Potts Point, guests were treated to a relaxing evening of Moet et Chandon Ice Imperial, a new champagne designed to be served over ice, and served over summer!
A preview of the C&M camilla and marc SWIM Spring 2012 collection was presented with a sleek hair look created by KMS California International Artistic Director Clive Allwright. To achieve the slicked back bun from the C&M Swim Australia Day Party, Clive provided his steps with us:
1. Water spray the models hair to dampen and then work KMS California SILKSHEEN Styling Crème into the hair and blow-dry through
2. Apply more KMS California SILKSHEEN Styling Crème to dry hair
3. With your fingers loosely sweep all hair into a ponytail and secure at the occipital bone
4. Wrap the hair around the ponytail and secure into a bun using bobby pins and French pins
5. Finish the look using KMS California HAIRSTAY Medium Hair Spray
Guests saw a riot of colour in a print focused collection. Different art movements inspire the C&M SWIM prints, with a colour-blocked check reminiscent of cubism and a multi colour stripe referencing abstract expressionism. This is the first time that camilla and marc have held an event to preview a new swim collection.
