A salon skin care brand has taken out this year’s Gold Coast Business Excellence Award for Health & Wellbeing.
Nobody was more thrilled than Skino2 when this year’s Gold Coast Business Excellence Award for Health & Wellbeing went to a salon skin care brand.
“We were thrilled to win the award for our overall growth and business achievements in the health and wellbeing sector,” says Skino2 managing director and co-founder, Alison Atia, who accepted the award.
The salon brand, which was originally founded in 2005 by local Gold Coast cosmetic surgeon Dr Atia for one of his patients, is now stocked in over 100 professional salons and retail stores across Australia and has grown to include a range of philanthropic ventures.
“It was also great to also be recognised by the panel of judges for our extra contributions towards local charities such as the Gold coast community fund, and for our dedicated support towards health and wellbeing aesthetic education in Australia,” says Atia.
The Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards are now in their 19th year of operation and are aimed at providing local organisations and their Australian employees with a unique opportunity to benchmark their performance against other like businesses, as well as the opportunity to network with other operators.
“We’re really thankful to all our loyal customers, dedicated therapists, teachers, doctors and supporting local businesses,” emphasises Atia.
“Without all their help, we would not have got our business to the next level and have achieved such great result for our community.”
