Influential Australian makeup artist, Rae Morris, will be headlining the Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo as a special guest next year.
Brisbane Hair andBeauty Expo has announced prominent Australian makeup artist, Rae Morris will be headlining its list of special guests at its inaugural event next year.
The now best-selling author and four times Australian Makeup Artist of the Year, Morris is set to take to centre stage on both days of the expo, as well as conduct a highly anticipated education session which will enable beauty industry professionals to learn techniques and tips directly from the celebrity makeup artist.
Adding to the incentive list for participants, Morris will also head up the judging table as a VIP guest judge at one the expo’s beauty and makeup competitions.

Born and raised in Brisbane, Morris launched her career in beauty at age 19 when she took on her her own hair salon in Brisbane before mastering the art of makeup.
Fast forward a few years, and Morris is now something of a legend in the professional beauty industry. Her enviable list of collaborations reads like a who’s who of world-class photographers and celebrities including the likes of Cate Blanchett, Jessica Biel, Pink, Hugh Jackman, and Miranda Kerr, with makeup spreads across magazine covers including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Rolling Stone, Oyster, Tush, Citizen K and InStyle, to name a few.
Morris’s acclaimed Rae Morris Magnetic Range (comprising 28 individual brushes) will also be available for purchase at the Rae Morris booth (Booth 64) at the expo, along with a selection of the makeup artist’s books, which have seen overwhelming worldwide success.
Ticket sales to Rae Morris’ education session at the Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo will go on sale in November/December 2014.
