Sothys Welcome Back Leah Lavington

Sothys has appointed long time brand fangirl Leah Lavington with plans to up their product training game.

Say hello to Sothys newest recruit, Leah Lavington.

There are many things that are easy to fake, but passion isn’t one of them.

So when seasoned skincare fangirl Leah Lavington walked through the door for her job interview at Sothys bursting at the seams with a loyalty that only comes from living and breathing a brand, they knew they’d met their match.

Originally from Melbourne, Lavington was first introduced to Sothys during her training at the Natural Skincare College in Balwyn in 1994, igniting a lifetime skincare love affair.

After going on to manage a Sothys salon, Lavington took the plunge and decided to open her very own Sothys business where she discovered a passion for sales and education.

“I always embraced the Sothys motto, ‘the results speak for themselves’ because I found they really did. I successfully treated so many skin conditions. What I really loved was that I always had the right product to turn to. Retail sales just followed through because of the fantastic results from the skincare treatments,” says Lavington.

And Lavington says she was keen to share those results with others, which lead the brand enthusiast to climb the ranks to become Sothys Victorian head trainer.

“I found one of the most rewarding parts of my role was helping beauty therapists get maximum results from the products, which in turn produced loyal clients and helped to grow their businesses.”

Now with a family, firmly entrenched in the laid-back culture of Western Australia following her family’s transfer there a number of years ago, Lavington has found her way back to the brand as the skincare company’s product training and sales manager for WA.

“We were thrilled to have Leah back. She really is part of the ever-growing Sothys family and she comes with so much background product knowledge and intuitively understands the culture of Sothys with its dedication to the ever evolving beauty industry.   The timing is perfect for Leah to re-engage with the beauty business, and with all her background experience this appointment opportunity offers a mutual benefit,” says Sothys training manager, Sandi Daley.

It’s a sentiment echoed by the brand’s newest recruit.

“After residing in Western Australia for the last eight years and raising my family, I am thrilled to be back working with the dynamic Sothys team and look forward to supporting all of the WA salons.”
