The donations continue…

The flood (excuse the pun) of emails we keep receiving informing us of what companies are doing to help the flood-affected victims of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria continues to be so overwhelming. Following on from our last post, the list of generous companies keeps growing.

Here’s an update:

DMK
DMK are involved in Sara Bray and Donny Galella's SYD LOVES QLD fundraiser on Australia Day eve. They have donated a gift pack worth $1,026 to be auctioned off on the night.

MOR COSMETICS
From Wednesday January 12 until Sunday February 13, 25 percent of all MOR E-boutique sales (globally) will be donated to the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

SOTHYS
Sothys have donated to the flood crisis and are committed to assisting those businesses directly affected. Members of the Sothys sales team in Brisbane have also been affected and they remain supportive and keen to assist their staff who have shown such strength and practicality in dealing with the flood and its aftermath.
 

LUSH
Lush will donate all proceeds from selected Lush Christmas stock directly to Queensland Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal. Their flood appeal sale will run in stores until January 21. 

ALPHA-H
Being a Queensland-based company, Alpha-H is committed to helping those families and businesses who were affected by the floods. For every online sale between January 17 and February 15 2011, Alpha-H will donate 5 percent of its profits to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal.

FRAIS LUXURY PRODUCTS
Frais Luxury Products arranged a shipment of 2000 units of their 6ml Frais Pocket Hand Sanitizer to Queensland’s Red Cross evacuation shelters to keep flood victims clean and healthy during their traumatic stay.

CARON LABORATORIES
Caron Laboratories is donating 50 cents from every wax sold during the month of January to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal.

AVON
Avon will deliver 1000 care packages, containing shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body oil, deodorant and other daily needs products to flood-affected victims and their families.

ESTEE LAUDER
The Estee Lauder Companies Australia has offered to match dollar for dollar all contributions from their 250 office-based employees. On top of this, Estee Lauder Companies will donate $50,000 to the appeal.

PHYT’S
PHYT’S Organic skincare is pledging 10 percent of all website orders to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Appeal until the end of January, and have donated Phyt’s products to the SES appeal. 

XTREME LASHES

Xtreme Lashes will donate $5 for every mascara sold until the end of February. This will include stockists who purchase to retail their product in salons as well as consumers who purchase from the website. They hope to raise a few thousand dollars to donate to the Red Cross Appeal which covers all flood victims involved. 

INTRACEUTICALS
The Australian Skincare Company, Intraceuticals is donating 20 percent of all Australian online shop sales to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Appeal.


EGO PHARMACEUTICALS
A staff fundraising day held at Ego Pharmaceuticals raised over $4000 for the Queensland Premier’s Flood Appeal. Ego’s Managing Director Alan Oppenheim matched staff donations dollar for dollar, bringing the total donated to over $8000. In addition, the company has pledged relevant products such as Aqium anti-bacterial hand gel and MOOV Insect Repellent to the Salvation Army to distribute on its behalf.
