Dr Darren Weissman introduces the LifeLine technique – a holistic and lifestyle approach to beauty therapy.
Holistic physician, best-selling author and developer of the LifeLine Technique, Dr Darren Weissman, brought his message of infinite love and gratitude to receptive audiences through workshops in Sydney, Adelaide and Coolangatta in May as part of a world tour that looked at stress as a gift in strange wrapping paper.
The LifeLine Technique is currently practiced in 20 countries where its message of self-empowerment through the application of ancient healing arts and conscious intention to work on reactive emotions is resonating with the personal care industry in particular.
Professional Beauty was invited to meet Weissman, who explained how his own journey as a “wounded warrior” led to his embracing chiropractic, kinesiology, acupuncture, Ayurveda and associated holistic treatments and natural therapies that eventuated in “the big idea” that brought it all together.
Exuding an aura of genuine warmth and passion and a high level of personal engagement in his communication, Weissman spoke to managing editor, Sarah Bowing, on how he saw a natural synergy between beauty therapy and the LifeLine Technique that awakens individuals to the true meaning of stress and disease that represent emotional patterns of reaction within the subconscious.
The beauty therapist who treats the client with acne or any other debilitating skin condition, is perfectly positioned to evoke change in the physical condition by raising conscious awareness, facilitating the body’s fullest potential for healing. The sufferer is encouraged to focus on where they are going, not what they are trying to get away from. A LifeLine session conducted by a trained practitioner who is also a beauty therapist can reprogram limited belief systems that undermine our health and behaviour, so the skin is being treated from the outside and from within.
The message of infinite love and gratitude speaks of a new code of intention, a recognition of something beautiful already in us. The technique is practiced not on, but with, the individual, in the caring, nurturing and healing environment found in salons.
