Aveda introduces a new treatment using Stress-Fix aimed at relieving the feeling of stress.

The Stress-Fix line is ECO-CERT certified organic and includes Stress-Fix Body Lotion, Soaking Salts and Concentrate.
All Aveda salons and spas will offer a Stress-Fix Body Massage in support of this new range. The body massage combines the power aroma with the power of touch in stress recovery.
The Stress-Fix massage features the Professional Stress-Fix Aroma Blend and uses Swedish massage with deep tissue techniques to reduce muscular tension. This increases circulation in the high stress areas within the body. Foot reflexology treatments and acupressure points are also used. The client will also be guided through meditation in order to enhance the benefits of stress relief and increased energy.
“Forty-four percent of adults today suffer adverse health effects from stress and many do not have the opportunity to effectively recover,” said Marianne Knutson, Vice President of Aveda Global Marketing.
“The Aveda Stress-Fix treatment offer a means to restore balance and ease the negative effects of stress,” she said, “aroma, breath and touch can stimulate relaxation and bring forth an awareness of the connection between the body and mind.”
The range of Stress-Fix products were created in collaboration with Clinical Aromaologist Pierre Franchomme. The range is powered by the science of aromaology and pure essential oils. Aveda also partnered with Plantes Aromatiques du Diois to source certified organic lavender, lavandin and clary sage from France.
