Skin and hair regrowth clinic Hair and Skin Science will open a new location in Perth next month – their 13th clinic.
The clinic will specialise in the following at their newest location:
* PRP Treatment Perth
* PRF Treatment Perth
* Hair Loss Treatment Perth
Hair and Skin Science Co-Director Jenna Chan says the demand for a Perth clinic was highly requested. “We are excited to be the first clinic in Perth to offer the 2nd generation PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment – PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin).”
Demand for PRP and PRF treatments in Australia has surged in recent years, with thanks in part to Kim Kardasian’s praise of PRP’s powerful anti-aging capabilities. “Australians are becoming more aware of their health and what they put in their body. PRP is a very safe and natural treatment that uses your own platelets to help stimulate hair regrowth,” Jenna explains.
PRP hair loss treatments are a non-surgical option for men and women who are suffering from hair loss and thinning. The Hair and Skin Science team describe the treatment as “very safe… [using] your own blood platelets which can help stimulate hair regrowth.” Consultation with a medical doctor or registered nurse is free and provided in-clinic.
Treatments are tailored to suit the skin needs of each client. “PRP has quickly become one of the most popular treatments to have instead of injectables, fillers and surgery. Hair and Skin Science clinics are known as the place to go for the famous ‘Vampire Facials’ and other advanced skin treatments,” the team tells Professional Beauty.
Hair and Skin Science has accrued significant success since opening the doors of their first clinic in 2016. At the time, Hair and Skin Science Co-Director, Royce Newton saw a gap in the market for affordable hair loss, laser and skin services. What started as a family business in Ashwood Victoria, the team today boasts 12 locations across the country, with Perth being the latest destination to secure their services.
Two additional clinics are also due to open in St Leonards NSW in September, and in Berwick VIC in October 2022. Royce expresses confidence in the chain’s ongoing success, telling Professional Beauty he’s ‘not sure what the future holds… probably four more [clinics] in 2023.”
For Jenna, the clinics’ mission was clear from the beginning: “to provide affordable hair loss and skin treatments performed by registered nurses and supported by Australian medical doctors.” Hair and Skin Science’s treatment menu consists of a range of PRP/PRF, microneedling, laser treatments, anti wrinkle injections, filler and threat lifts designed to deliver rapid, professional results at an affordable price.
Hair and Skin Science retail their PRP skin treatment from $230. For a full list of Hair and Skin Science locations, visit their website.
