Melbourne-based dermal therapist James Vivian, who founded Viviology, has signed up to a major distribution deal with one of Australia’s largest skincare distributors, Advanced Cosmeceuticals Skin Group (ACSG).
Since its inception, Viviology has been available for consumers to shop via online beauty retailer, Adore Beauty. This new partnership is set to spell the expansion of Viviology across the country’s salon and clinic network. The intention behind the move is to provide ACSG the opportunity to “support [clinic] treatments via [the entire range of Viviology] retail-ready solutions for use at home,” a press statement on the news reads.
The brand’s tagline reads ‘Confusion-free cosmeceuticals’ in respect to Viviology’s active-laced formulations. Each of the brand’s nine SKUs currently retail under $AUD90 with an average price point of around $60 per product.
Viviology’s retail line includes:
- Gentle Foaming Cleanser
- Vitamin C Serum
- Ceramide Moisturiser
- Niacinamide + HA Serum
- Retinol Serum 0.3%
- Lipid Cleanser
- Lipid Exfoliant
- Hydrating Sleep Mask
- Exfoliating Enzyme Mask
“Viviology was created to grace the skin and bathrooms of savvy skincare users across Australia,” James said. “Partnering with Advanced Cosmeceuticals allows us to bring the Viviology experience to clinics, as well as their clients, assisting and enhancing treatment journeys, and skincare goals by offering fun, sophisticated, inclusive and accessible skincare at a time when our industry needs it more than ever.”
ACSG acquired DMK in 2022 and has since onboarded Shaunte Mears-Watkins ACSG’s CEO. Several leading international skincare brands also remain housed under the ACSG umbrella, including mesoestetic, Medik8, and Calecim. Viviology is the sole Australian–owned brand within the ACSG portfolio.
