Premetec, the Australian distributors of Alma Lasers, announced that Alma Lasers was selected in the top 15 ranks in the 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 50. The Fast 50 is a ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in Israel. According to Premetec, Alma Lasers was the first Biotec/Pharmaceutical/Medical Equipment company to be listed.
Ranked at number 11 this year, this is Alma Lasers’ third consecutive win, and now ranks the company as one of the largest suppliers of aesthetic laser, IPL and RF technologies in the world.
To determine who the fastest growing companies are Deloitte looks at annual fiscal reviews over five years (2003 to 2007), calculating the revenue growth percentage and comparing the growth of technology companies against each other.
Alma Lasers has a history of rapid and continuous product development, including the recent launch of the new Spa SHR pulsed light system and Spa RF radio frequency system.
Premetec Director, Trevor Neale, said, “Alma Lasers are a relatively new company in the international aesthetic laser and pulsed light market and they are already biting at the heels of manufacturers that have been around for many years. The biggest contributor to their success is their product innovation. With a focus on safety and efficacy, we have seen the development of fluorescent filters in the IPL heads giving a greater selection of appropriate colours for treatments, multi-pulsing techniques for hair removal to minimise discomfort and risk, as well as powerful radio frequency technology for skin tightening and body shaping, which is an ideal complement to phototherapy. Alma Lasers’ fast pace in development and change will ensure their constant growth and continual inclusion in the Deloitte Fast 50.”
