A Beauty Expo Australia first: The Sydney-based beauty expo welcomed The Celebrity Apprentice through its doors this year, where celebrities, including Sophie Monk and Matt Cooper, worked their own beauty stands.
A lot can happen at a beauty expo, but it’s not everyday that top celebrities set up their own beauty treatment stands and compete on television. But that’s just what happened at this year’s Beauty Expo Australia 2015 when The Celebrity Apprentice paid the expo a visit!
This is a first for the event organisers, which saw Beauty Expo partner with The Celebrity Apprentice, allowing the show to film a celebrity challenge over the two-day event which was held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre in August.
Working amongst the Beauty Expo’s beauty experts and professional guests, were big-name stars including Sophie Monk, Matt Cooper, Richard Reid and Tim Dormer who set-up their own beauty treatment stands on the Expo floor to raise money for their chosen charity. The celeb who earned the most, won the challenge.

The Celebrity Apprentice episode featuring Beauty Expo Australia 2015, aired on national television on Wednesday, 4 November, at 8.40pm on Channel 9.
*Spoiler alert! Sophie Monk and Tim Dormer took out rival team Richard Reid, Mel Greig and Matt Cooper in the Beauty Expo Challenge. Their “How to be red carpet ready in 15 minutes” makeup service raised over $90K in donations, smashing the other team’s $30K foot massage offering. Mel Greig lost in the boardroom and was the one who ended up being fired.
