A launch for the Merz Aesthetics was held at the newly refurbished Museum of Contemporary Art in The Rocks, Sydney on Monday 19th March.
After delicious canapés and drinks on the terrace overlooking the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, guests were invited in for talks from some of the company’s key workers about Merz and their new Radiesse Volumising Filler.

The Asia-Pacific CEO Aaron Kim gave an overview of the company which was first established more than 100 years ago by the young pharmacist and chemist Friedrich Merz in Frankfurt, Germany. Merz has been developing anti-ageing products since 1953 when it launched Placentubex, an anti-wrinkle preparation that firms and rejuvenates the skin.
Henri P. Gaboriau, MD discussed new Radiesse Volumising Filler, its use and distribution. Radiesse is a dermal filler that uses a naturally occurring mineral called calcium hydroxylapatite housed in a water-based gel carrier. When injected into the skin, the gel-matrix of calcium microspheres pushes up the contour deficits, providing an instant lifting affect and giving instant volume.
The launch proved to be a success in introducing the Australian Merz Aesthetics team to the media and aesthetic community. Merz Aesthetics is now providing direct company support to the Australian market.
